The Leaning Tower and the Field of Miracles suit a shorter Livorno call. It is the Tuscany most guests can actually finish. Pisa with Lucca is the better pairing than Pisa with Florence when the clock is only middling.

Stay nearer the harbour, or go only as far as Pisa, if you would rather not spend the day on the clock. We would rather you had a complete smaller day than a famous one you did not finish.
